New-Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows* 7/8/8.1 version 15. Posted for Ivybridge and Baytrail. The issue has been known for well over a year with the HD chipset drivers. Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver - F6 Driver for Windows Setup USB 3.0 Drivers NOTE: Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 8 support the Intel USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller out-of-the-box.
This utility will install the originally shipped version of the Intel® HD Graphics Family for the Sony VAIO® computers listed below.
IMPORTANT NOTES: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
Warning! This utility is only for use with the following Sony VAIO® Computers:
VGN;VGC;VGX;VPC
Do not install this utility with any other model of computer (including other Sony computers sold worldwide).
During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Please follow the steps below to download and install the INDVID-00250858-0042.EXE program.
Installation procedure for VPCZ21 drivers and utilities
Please read this if you are installing a clean version of Windows 7 64-bit Edition
- You must connect the Power Media Dock (docking station) to your notebook when installing the 64-bit driver “AMD Radeon HD6650M & Intel Mobile HD graphics”. This driver won’t install if the Power Media Dock is not connected. Note that the driver “AMD Radeon HD6650M & Intel Mobile HD graphics” is a hybrid graphics driver for both the AMD and Intel graphics adapters. If you have purchased a VAIO VPCZ21 notebook series without the Power Media Dock, please install the standalone 64-bit driver “Intel Mobile HD graphics”.
- You must install “ALL” drivers and utilities labelled 64-bit or 32/64-bit that are available in the Preinstalled download section of your model. Failure to install “ALL” drivers and utilities may cause some features (for e.g.: Fn-hotkeys, etc.) not to operate properly.

- You must install “ALL” drivers and utilities labelled 32-bit or 32/64-bit that are available in the Preinstalled download section of your model. Failure to install “ALL” drivers and utilities may cause some features (for e.g.: Fn-hotkeys, etc.) not to operate properly.
- Download the INDVID-00250858-0042.zip file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
- Right-click the file downloaded in previous step and choose 'Extract All'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to extract the compressed file.
- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the INDVID-00250858-0042.EXE file to begin the installation.
- At “User Account Control”, click “Yes”
- If the “Select Language” window appears, select the language you wish to use and click the “OK” button.
- At “Select Country” please select the country you want for this installation and click “Next”
- At the 'Welcome Intel® HD Graphics Family Setup Program' , click “Next”.
- Read the Software License Agreement and click 'I Agree'.
- At the “Welcome to the Setup Program” window, click the “Next” button.
- At the “License Agreement” window, read the license agreement and click the “Yes” button.
- At the “Readme File Information” window, read the information and click the “Next button.
- At the “Setup Progress” window, click the “Next button to continue.
- At the “Setup is Complete” window, select “Yes, I want to restart this computer now” and click the “Finish” button.
The installation of the Intel® HD Graphics Family is completed.
